You're writing all the blog posts, but for some reason you not getting any rankings, and search traffic from the Google. And you know that what? Today, I'm gonna tell you why that is and how to fix that.
Hey everyone, today I'm gonna explain the number one reason your blog doesn't rank in google. Before we get started, make sure you subscribe to this website.
So that way when I have more article like this you'll get notified. Now, quick question for you. How many blog posts are writing a week for your website? Is it one? Is it zero? Is it 10? List the number below, I'm curious. The real reason I'm asked that question is because blogging is no longer for the a quantity game.
When I started blogging there was less than an 30 or 40 million blogs post. It was the small number. Now there's was over the billion blogs. you just think about that.A billion blogs on the websites. That's roughly one blog for the every seven people. Do you think we really need the all those blogs out there?, of course not.
That's why blogging has shifted from the quality game versus a quantity of game. When I started you can just rank out tons of the quantity, you'll be do well. And now if you do that, you won't do well. So I'm gonna break down the formula for you ,you need to the follow, step by steps.
If you wanna write good content that ranks. Step one, head over to the Uber suggest. Step two, once you're at the Uber suggest, type in the competing URL. So take any one of your competitors that you know is doing on really well, type in their URL in to the Uber suggest.
Step three, you'll be see the overview page. This will show you their website traffic, all the search terms, with in the region their you're targeting. So on Uber suggest we did a search with in the United States. You'll be see that URL's traffic just for the United States. You can always switch the region.
But the reason this tool is built this way is because your customers are probably coming from a specific region versus from every where in the world. On that page I want you to scroll down, click on the Top Pages.
When you click on the Top Pages it'll show you all of the most popular pieces of the content that your competition's written about, their traffic to the each post, and when you are click View All under these estimated traffic, it'll be show you all the keywords that are driving on these visitors.
Now, the next step I want you to follow. You're looking for the keywords that drive in a lot of the traffic, the most volume. Have the low search difficulty or SEO difficulty number keyword. Ideally under 50.
And you're looking for low Competition keywords that have a high cost per click. So, in general if it's over a dollar or two, three dollars, the better. When you are find this keywords, this are money keywords. I want you to go and search for on Google.
Which is the next step. So go to Google, do a search for the one of those keywords. When you do a search, read all of the articles in the top ten.
When you read all of the articles in the top ten it'll give you a good understanding of what Google is looking for the articles that rank for that term.specially if you wanna rank for it.
The next step is the write a much better on the article. I'm not talking about some thing that's double, triple the length. I'm not even talking about 10 times of the length. Yes, you want something that's longer and more in the depth. But it's not all the about length.
It's more about thorough ness. Did you are cover the every aspect of that article, that the topic? For example, if it's about making a pizza, do you talk about on the crust? How the water effects of the crust and the taste.
Is it better to the use bottled water or tap water? How should you cook in your pizza? Do you cook the dough first and then put on the sauce? Do you cook through your dough a little bit, then take it out of the oven, put on the sauce, then the toppings? Like, what's the process? By breaking it down step by step to the even what kind of oven you should use.
Where to put the tray in the oven. In the middle on the oven, at the top on the oven and at the bottom on the oven.
How long you should cook it for and how much the temperature. Should you use convection oven? Non-convection oven.
All these uses are so specific that when someone reads your content the article is amazing look like. They're like, oh my god ,I got so much value out of it. And that the keyword to the creating an amazing piece of content. That's how you write to the content that the gets traffic.
It's not about producing the quantity. It's about producing quality. And the last steps I have for you when you're producing to these content email all the other sites that you're source is right? The sites you're linking to.
And tell 'him, hey man, I linked out to your site, love what you are doing. Linked out to the my latest pizza article on my website.
Check it out here. And there's a good chance that they'll share that article on the social web. Once you follow this research process you'll do much better. And this is why, if you follow this, you will be start only writing articles that rank.
You'll stop writing articles that get no traction. Which is huge waste of time. And of course, if you want help with your content marketing, If you have any questions leave a comment below and I'll answer 'him.
